Measuring Guide
Measuring Guide
Measure the Wall Width
- Measure the full width of your wall from edge to edge in inches.
- If covering more than one wall, measure each wall individually and add the widths together.
Measure the Wall Height
- Measure from floor to ceiling at the tallest point of the wall, in inches.
- If your wall has baseboards or molding, measure only the exposed wall area—from the top of the baseboard to the bottom of the molding.
Doors & Windows
- Take note of doors, windows, or built-ins.
- These areas should still be included in your measurements, as panels are trimmed around them during installation to ensure proper pattern alignment.
Important Note
Panels with different height options cannot be mixed. Mixing heights will cause the pattern to misalign.
Installation Guide
Installation Guide
Panel Size & Installation Direction
- Each panel measures 19" wide.
- Panels must be installed from left to right to ensure seamless pattern alignment.
Panel Order Matters
- Panels are custom printed in a specific sequence so the design aligns correctly.
- Each panel is numbered and must be installed in numerical order.
- Installing panels out of order will cause the pattern not to match.
Wall Preparation
- Walls must be clean, smooth, and free of dust, grease, or flaking paint.
- Even if your wall appears clean, we recommend washing it with mild soap and water and allowing it to fully dry before installation.
- Paint must be fully cured prior to wallpaper installation. Many paints require up to 30 days to cure—applying wallpaper too soon can result in off-gassing that causes lifting over time.
- Wallpaper should only be applied to properly prepared, smooth surfaces.
- We are not responsible for adhesion issues caused by textured, uneven, or unprepared walls.
Installer Recommendation
- For the best possible result, we recommend working with a professional wallpaper installer.
Recommended Adhesives & Tools
For Luxe Traditional Wallpaper
- We recommend Roman Pro-880 wallpaper adhesive for a smooth, professional-quality installation.
For Peel & Stick Wallpaper
- Adding EZ-Hang spray (available on Amazon) can provide slip during installation, making alignment easier and reducing the need to peel and re-stick. This can also improve adhesion to the wall.
- A seam reinforcer such as Roman Seam Repair Adhesive, along with a seam roller, can help secure seams and top edges and prevent or correct any lifting.
- Mixing panel heights within the same installation will result in an uneven or broken pattern match.
If you are between sizes, always choose the height that fully covers your wall and trim the excess.
